BB Unit Cardiff University

Cardiff University Conference Centre, Tuesday 4th - Wednesday 5th April 2006

Travel directions

The workshop took place at Cardiff University Conference Centre. The University Conference Centre is a purpose designed all-year conference venue situated within the landscaped grounds of University Hall, three miles from the city centre and five minutes from the M4. NOTE that this is away from the main campus but quite near the "Heath" hospital campus, in a suburban area of Cardiff. Although there are some signs you need a map to find it, and any of the resources below should be sufficient.

For directions please either:

  • Follow the instructions on this map
  • Use Cardiff University's link to, put in your starting point and select "University Hall and Conference Centre" as the destination
  • Use your own routefinder and put in "CF23 5YB" or "Birchwood Road, Cardiff"

Or use the maps provided by the following web map sites, but note that the entrance to the Conference Centre is in Birchwood Road, not Birchwood Lane:

By bus

The number 52 or 52A bus goes from the City Centre to University Hall via the main University area (Greyfriars Road, Dumfries Place and West Grove), takes approximately 15 minutes, and runs every 15 minutes. See Traveline Cymru for timetables and maps.
